Shake It Off: Give your doormat a good shake regularly to remove dirt, dust, and debris. A few strong taps will do wonders.

Vacuum Occasionally: Use a vacuum on a low suction setting to clean up embedded dirt. Avoid going over the mat with a beater bar—it’s too rough on the fibers.

Keep It Dry: Coir is tough but not invincible. Prolonged exposure to moisture can cause mold or shedding. Place it in a covered area and allow it to dry completely if it gets wet.

Avoid Direct Sunlight: Too much sun can fade the design over time. If possible, position your mat in a shaded or partially covered spot.

Spot Clean Stains: Gently dab any stains with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking the mat as excess water can damage the coir fibers.

No Machine Washing: Coir mats are not machine-friendly! Stick to shaking, vacuuming, and spot cleaning only.
